![]() Stock Configuration & Condition: The hardwood stock has a straight grip, metal nose cap, stacking loop, 2 barrel bands, 2 sling loops, 2 reinforcing screws, and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight marked from “2-8” on the top and “0” with hash marks on the rear. ![]() Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned blade set in a raised base. There are a few other small markings on the rifle. The right of the front sight, underside of the base of the bolt handle, right of the bolt plug, stacking loop, left of the nosecap, and front sling loop are marked “R”. The left side of the wrist is stamped “RA”, crossed cannons, and “FJA” in a box (Frank J Atwood). The left side of the butt is stamped “OG” (Ogden Arsenal repair or refurbishment). The bottom of the grip is stamped with a “circled P” proof and “W”. The safety is marked “SAFE READY” and has “R” on the rear and the magazine cutoff is marked “ON OFF” and “R”. The top of the barrel is marked “R A / flaming bomb / 9- 43”.
